Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are saddened to inform you of the death of the Rev. Dwight Chapman Fortune in Providence, Rhode Island, on Oct. 21, 2018. Dwight was rector at St. John’s Church in Taunton from 1978 until 1989, and also served at the Church of St. John the Evangelist in Mansfield. Prior to that he served at All Saints’ Church in Attleboro (1976-1978), St. Paul’s Church in Malden (1975-1976), St. John’s Church in Sharon (1965-1974) and St. Peter’s Church in Beverly (1962-1965).
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 1:00 p.m. at All Saints’ Church in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Clergy are invited to vest (white stoles; please arrive by 12:45 p.m.).
May the soul of God’s faithful servant departed rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon him.
