Two vocational deacons and eight transitional deacons were ordained by Bishop Gayle E. Harris on Saturday, June 1 at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Boston.

Transitional deacons (and their sponsoring congregations) are: The Rev. Sarah Brock (All Saints Parish in Brookline); The Rev. Katie Ernst (The Crossing, Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Boston); The Rev. Eric Fialho (Grace Church in Salem); The Rev. Olivia Hamilton, The Rev. Isaac Martinez and The Rev. Mary Beth Mills-Curran (all St. James's Church in Cambridge); The Rev. Maria Kano (Grace Church in Medford); and The Rev. Paul Shoaf Kozak (St. Luke's-San Lucas Church in Chelsea).
