Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are saddened to inform you of the death of the Rev. Allen Bevier Warren III in Reading, Massachusetts, on Easter Day, March 31, 2024.
Allen served as rector of the Parish of the Good Shepherd in Waban from 1984 until 1990, then as curate at the Church of the Advent in Boston from 1990 until 1993. After serving as rector of the Church of the Resurrection in New York City, he returned to the Church of the Advent, serving as rector from 1999 until 2018.
A Solemn Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Advent in Boston, Massachusetts. All are welcome to attend the Requiem and reception that follows, but clergy are asked not to vest and process.
May the soul of God’s faithful servant departed rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon him.
