The B-PEACE for Jorge Campaign of the Diocese of Massachusetts, in partnership with the Diocese of Western Massachusetts and the Pioneer Valley Project, invites participation in a public witness outside the corporate headquarters of Smith & Wesson (2100 Roosevelt Avenue) in Springfield on Friday, Sept. 13 at 4 p.m.
Bishop Alan M. Gates plans to participate. One hope for this action is to have as many people present as possible, joining voices to ask gun manufacturers to be part of the solution to end gun violence.
