Planning is now underway for a diocesan liturgy in celebration of the life of Bishop Barbara C. Harris, to be held on Sunday, June 12 at 5 p.m. at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Boston.

The following letter expands upon the COVID-19 guidelines sent by the bishops on March 7, 2022, which take effect on April 1, 2022.

The bishops issued the following statement on March 23, 2022, calling for prayer and for ingatherings for the Episcopal Relief & Development Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund, on Sundays, April 3 and 10.

The Diocesan Youth Council gathered a group of middle and high school peers for a day-long retreat on Saturday, March 19, hosted at the Parish of the Epiphany in Winchester. It was their first in-person gathering since the pandemic began two years ago. About 10 congregations were represented among those in attendance.

DYC organizers and adult mentors present at the retreat said the day was about re-centering, finding belonging, thinking beyond one's own personal experiences and doing something actionable to help others.

The Office of the Bishop has announced that the Rev. Edward M. Cardoza will now be serving full time, on an interim basis, as missioner for property stewardship on the diocesan staff, a role in which he has been serving part-time since September 2020.
