Eucharistic visitors are lay people who have been trained to give the Holy Eucharist to those who are unable to attend church services. Eucharistic visitors must be licensed by the diocese.
There are two types of eucharistic visitor training:
- Training of lay people to become eucharistic visitors. These sessions are led by a clergy person and an experienced eucharistic visitor.
- Training of clergy and/or eucharistic visitors to train new eucharistic visitors ("training the trainers").
For all sessions:
Time: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Registration deadline: Two weeks prior to event
Cost: $40 for lay participants, $20 for clergy
See calendar box at upper right for links to event registration.
